The life of Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots is cloaked by history and shrouded in mystery. Did Mary truly love Lord Darnley? Did she see him as a dashing saviour knight, only to have her innocent heart broken by his abusive nature? How much of his murder was she aware? Was Mary, Queen of Scots, involved in plots to assassinate and depose her powerful cousin, Queen Elizabeth I of England? Or was she simply a pawn in the intrigues of her time?
